What does it mean?
Bile is a greenish-brown fluid that is produced in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. It is made up of water, potassium, sodium, cholesterol, and bilirubin. Bile has a basic or alkaline pH (meaning the pH is above 7), and it is secreted into the small intestine to help digest fats.
