What does it mean? 

Flexion is the act of bending or flexing, especially the bending at a joint. In anatomy, it describes an action that decreases the angle between two parts of the body.

How do I use it in a sentence?

Doing a bicep curl involves flexion at the elbow, bringing the forearm closer to the upper arm and decreasing the angle of the elbow joint.
